REDDA + began with REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) initiatives to reduce negative environmental impacts and offset carbon emissions.
The “+” symbol in our name is linked to REDD+, that is, to the sum of REDD mechanisms with the preservation and increase in forest carbon stocks – including sustainable forest management. This is why we are REDDA+.
We began in 2021, and REDDA + has its efficiency linked to 4 essential factors: social, economic, environmental, and cultural. We are a 100% Brazilian company committed to sustainably improving the quality of life for communities in the Brazilian Amazon region. With this, we contribute to producing a more transparent carbon market.

Our company is more lively, open, and flexible through a diverse team with members representing different universes, lifestyles, and personalities. Helping each other and learning from differences is natural – and beneficial – to us.
One of our current projects is in Portel, Pará. With the help of partners such as IRAMA, UNAMA (University of the Amazon), UEPA (State University of Pará), LabAgua – Laboratório Ambiental, and IdeflorBio (Institute for Forest Development and Biodiversity in the State of Pará – PA), we apply REDD mechanisms. We are focussed on achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals for a community with better quality of life.
