Sustainable agriculture works from the creation of a plan, considering the necessary changes and the importance of the viability of the business. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, sustainable agriculture is:

“the management and conservation of the natural resource base and the technological and institutional orientation, in order to ensure the achievement and continuous satisfaction of human needs for present and future generations. Such sustainable development (agriculture, forestry, and fishing) results in the conservation of soil, water, and genetic, animal and plant resources, in addition to not degrading the environment, being technically appropriate, economically viable and socially acceptable.”

Examples of Sustainable Agriculture in Brazil
